Deepa Nailwal

Deepa Nailwal is a certified Executive Coach from Erickson Coaching International, corporate trainer, motivational speaker and HR consultant. A senior HR professional with 25 years of experience, Psychology postgraduate and MBA – HR, Deepa started her career as part of the first batch of women officers for the Indian Air Force (IAF) in the year 1992.

While with the IAF she performed multiple roles such as selecting officers as a psychologist at the selection board, heading HR function at a flying station and managing 40 plus IAF schools located in northern India as Western Air Command Education Officer. She quit the IAF in the year 2004 as Squadron Leader and joined the development sector, heading HR for an international organisation working in the area of HIV.

Later she moved to the media industry, first heading HR for the Indian Express group and then moving on to Hindustan Times group. As VP – HR, she spent 9 years at HT, heading HR for different businesses and functions, being HR partner for 2 education start-ups and leading employee engagement, training and organisation development functions.

Training was always her passion and she led the Learning & Development function in her last organisation for many years along with many other responsibilities. She has created and delivered multiple soft skill training sessions especially in the area of leadership skills & assessment workshops.

As a coach, HR professional and corporate trainer, adding value to people and enabling them to discover “Who am I” is her mission. She believes the answer to this question is the key to unprecedented success & happiness for both the individual & the organisation.

Now as an HR consultant, she consults organisations on POSH and does training for employees of client organisations. As per law, all organisations are supposed to have a POSH committee and train 100% of their population on this law. Executive Coaching: She has been coaching senior business leaders to meet organisational and personal goals.

She has also been coaching young people to help them make the right choices and many others who are aspiring to a change in life and working towards success. HR Consultancy: She has led change management interventions aimed at higher productivity & effectiveness, created competency frameworks & assessment workshops, done org restructuring & manpower budgeting, developed HR policies & processes and implemented balance scorecards etc.
